This blog is where you can find out the latest on what’s happening on the golf course at Deep Springs Country Club. Since 1971, Deep Springs Country Club has been the centerpiece of golf for Rockingham County. Built on the old Lindsay Plantation, the rolling fairways and greens have provided its members and guests a golf experience that is a Triad classic.

The TurfCare team’s goal is to ensure the golf course reaches its full potential while sustaining cultural and environmentally safe practices. The course has received many improvements over the last several years. The most significant change came in 2016 when the greens were converted from bentgrass to ultradwarf bermudagrass(Champion). When managed correctly, these Champion greens will provide championship quality conditions.

We hope that you will provide us with any feedback that you may have, good or bad. We certainly thank you for taking time to check out what’s happening on the golf course and hopefully it’s providing answers on how and why we are doing the things we are doing.
